@mobes329 I’m tired of sweating in Texas, I’ll take the chicago wind for a
while here (though I did go to the university of illinois, and man, did it
get cold in the winter.) Scotty

With all the respect you deserve Mr. Kilmer… Hood cowls are a pain! They
should be made of some type of composite material. On the New Edge MUSTANG
this is a big trouble item because it degrades with time and when it
becomes brittle you usually end up breaking it to replace your windshield
wipers. If I tell you the price through the dealership you will probably
flip, but I’m sure you probably know around how much it is.

@jbonkerz Yes, that’s always a bad motor in those designs, the circuits
inside burn out and do that. Scotty

ive got this problem with the rear windwiper , when i switch it on , just
for one go like a ‘flash’ would be , it does its cycle like 4 times and
stops then after couple of seconds something clicks in the dashboard and it
goes around 2 or 3 times until it stops. what could it be?

@paulicapopcorn the rear motor assemblies often burn out like that, me, I’d
    live without it.

What if I tried everything you said to do and the wiper’s are still not
working? could there be something else… Buy the way I went and bought a
    new motor.

@Neeal314 yes, almost always a bad motor assembly, the contacts inside go
    bad, replace the whole unit.

Hey Scotty. I have an 02 Dodge Dakota. The last rain I turned on the wipers
and the pasenger one didn’t work but the driver side did. Then the
passenger one lifts up and they got locked up together and I had to pull
over and rip them apart in the pouring rain. Now the driver side still
works but doesn’t rotate all the way. I thought the motor was shot, but I
guess since it still has power the linkage is messed up?

speed. what could that be from? like i push it up one and it moves every a
couple of seconds, move it up and it moves slowly down and up. and when i
push the lever all the way up they just dont move. just like they were off.
    PLEASE HELP :D
